I'm looking to find out who's presently working in the laboratory with some kind of project. Inmates and wardens both, though I understand that inmates need to be supervised by wardens. I'm not trying to cheat any rules. I want to get a feel for what everyone is studying in order to begin research on something else entirely, with the permission of my warden. He's been encouraging me to ask questions about the things I care about.

I'm interested in working in the infirmary. George told me that he talked with you already about my getting started. I have no experience beyond some basic first aid and reading up on anatomy and some EMT materials, but I learn fast and I can work whatever hours you need.

Date: 2011-07-09 06:40 am (UTC)I'm not really sure why. No offense to my parents, but Edward isn't exactly the greatest name. It was number five in America around the time I died--probably as a result of that stupid vampire series--, but it wasn't that highly rated when I was born and the other Edwards seem to come from pretty different places and times anyway. Statistically, it was bound to happen eventually with some name. I'm glad I was lucky enough to be a contributing entity.

I need someone with a different perspective than a life like mine can offer. You're the man I get along with the best that can offer that kind of unique perspective. And, quite frankly, because this is about getting results, I'd rather not have a woman. It's nothing against their capabilities. I just know I'd get distracted.

I still need to talk to George. Give me some time before you talk to the other wardens? I don't want him to think I'm trying to go above his head or around his back or anything. He's a good guy and he's trying to help me and I don't want to be the one to screw him.
